I wanted to share something with all of my faithful readers. Something amazing. Something cool. Something that took waaaay too much time, but obviously, was way worth it.

Ok, as requested by Greg, i'm teaching you all to play Wizard, cause it's such a fun game. (It kicks almost as much ass as PIT!!! bahahahahah!!!)
So it's basically a normal deck of cards, but there are four Wizard cards and four Sluff cards. Wizards beat anything, sluff cards beat nothing. I think you can play with up to 6 people. On the first round, every person gets one card, on the second round, everyone gets two cards, and so on. The last round takes place when all the cards in the deck are dealt out.
After dealing out the cards, the top card is flipped over to reveal the trump suit. For those who don't know, trump is special because it's sort of - worth more. If someone leads hearts in a round, and you don't have any, you can play a trump card (say it's spades) and even if your card is a two, if it's the only spade, you win the trick. If you play the highest, or m ost powerful card in a round, you take the cards, and it's called a trick. Prior to each round, each player has to make a bet stating how many tricks they think they'll win. The player left of the dealer bets first, and it goes around the table with the dealer betting last. The same goes for order of play, and after the first trick is won, whoever took it plays first. At the end of the round, you count how many you've won, and you get points accordingly.
If you got exactly what you wanted, you get 20 points, plus 10 points for every trick. So, say at the beginning of round 4, i bet 3. Then i won three of the tricks, i'd get 20 points because i got what i wanted, plus 30 points because i get 10 for every trick. If you don't get what you want, you LOSE 10 points for every extra, or less trick. So, using the same situation, if i only won 2 tricks, i'd lose ten points, and if i won all 4, i'd also lose 10, because i got one too many. The game gets interesting when everyone places their bets, and the total amount of tricks everyone wants is bigger than the number of cards dealt out. Someone's gotta lose.
It sounds tricky, but that's because i suck at explaining these things... hehe. A few things to remember, you have to follow the suit that was lead unless you don't have any (obviously), BUT you can play a wizard or a sluff card anytime. If two Wizards are played in the same round, whoever played theirs first takes the trick. Oh, when flipping over the top card to define trump, if a wizard comes up, the dealer choses the suit of trump, and if a sluff card comes up, there is no trump. In the last round there is also no trump, because all of the cards have been dealt out.
It's a really fun game, i'll have to have a game with someone local one of these days! XP

You know, i've been up until 2 or 3 in the morning almost every night for the past 5 or 6 days i think. Maybe it's been longer than that. The weeks are running together and i find joy in nothing except the sound of Jeremy's voice. Actually, the sound of anyone's voice that i'm not living with would be nice, but it's Jeremy's that i hear the most often as of late. Which is strange if you think about it, but nice.
It's our 11-month anniversary today, and it's all very exciting. He left a sweet message on my cell. You know a message is gonna be good when it's your favorite boy of the day and it starts off with, "what up, girl?" hee...
I haven't properly posted here in a good long while. I think ever since that whole teacher thing, i've been paranoid. But whatever. Like Hernandez says, "fuck it.". hehe. I like that philosophy. I played Wizard (card game) with my mom and sister tonight and i lost pretty badly. Hell, i was so far behind that in the very last round i made 140 points, and i still lost. How sad is that? Oh well, at least i went out big.
I start working on Tuesday, i'm really excited. I think i'm gonna love working there. weeee, free caffeine!

Today was such a good day. So good.
Hinton was great, btw. Saw Erin AND Alex, both of whom i had not seen for 3 years. So, that was good.
I went to K-days today. My parents actually let Jeremy drive me. *gasp* I gotta get my license...
Jordan came too, and we met up with this guy name Brandon that Jer works with. He's 17, and omg he is funny. It was just so-- perfect. We walked around and went on rides, and i screamed, and it was just-- great.
and that's all i can really say. and mmm, sugar.

I'm leaving tomorrow at 3 from my mom's office and we're hitting the open road for a little weekend trip to Hinton. For those who don't know, namely Greg and Dave, i lived in Hinton for two years, it's a small town in Alberta just outside of Jasper, if that helps. Anyways, i'm gonna spend tomorrow and most of Saturday at Erin's place before we head back late Saturday afternoon. My mom was going out to do a girl's weekend kind of thing with two of her friends, so i decided to tag along.
Every time Erin and i have planned to get together, something has happened to prevent me from seeing her. I haven't seen her in almost 3 years, since i moved away. It's crazy.
Anyways. I still haven't gotten Morphix to work, but i haven't tried it on Sarah's compy yet, either. We'll see about that when i get back. My mom bought a new scanner tonight (sa-weet!) but i don't think she's got it working yet... bad news.
Well, i'mona get up sorta kind early tomorrow to shower and shave and the like and then crimp my hair!! oooh, sexy. Oh! And my mom gave me her old USB port, so now i can have my mouse, my digital cam, and my mp3 player all hooked in at the same time! yay!

It's good to be home again.

I'm back from Stage 13! I know, i know, you all missed me evah so much. It was pretty rockin'. I mean, i got to see OLP so it really doesn't get any better than that. Oh and Treble Charger kicked teh butt too. I'm sitting here in my super cool flame shorts, black hooded shirt and my vest feeling quite cool. I'm downloading Morphix (Linux) so i can burn it onto a cd and make it my new OS. I've got the light version and Greg's doing the heavy. We figure we can each try one and tell each other about them, see if we can spot any diffs. So far, the only difference we can see is that light is about half the size, which is nice. We'll see i guess.
Linkin Park's In the End is playing on the radio. I really like this song.
Oh man. Last night i'm chattin' it up on msn with michael, right? So he decides to send me some tunes. Turntable tunes. Oldschool and newschool. It was sw33t with a capital 3 if you know what i mean. XPP
Ooh, Morphix is done, i gotta go burn it now.

Kidding, kidding, i'm no bastard. But i haven't posted much over the last 5 days or so, simply because i was visiting my father just outside of Stony Plain, and all they've got is dial-up. (( gag )) I couldn't spend a whole lot of time surfing and such, so i was really only keeping track of my e-mail so my account wouldn't explode... XDD
I did have fun out there, though. Probably spent more time sleeping than anything else, but still. Yesterday he took me driving, let me get some practise so i can go out and get my license one of these days. Jeremy thinks i'll make it on the first try. I hope he's right. :s
Well. It's about 10:30. I haven't been up so early since school ended. Not 10:30, i've been up that early. But i got up at 6:50 this morning in order to get a ride into town with my dad on his way to work. I still feel kinda half-asleep. And my throat hurts a little. I think Sophie tried to give me her cold. Must. Resist. Germs. Good thing i have such a buff immune system.. XP
I'm in a really good mood. Stage 13 is almost here. We leave tomorrow. I'm really hoping to see my boy tonight, otherwise it'll have been a good long while without him. *sniff*
